Tank, I would think any twin that loses power at speed would get pretty squirrely if the drive suddenly threw the prop into stop position? Anyone ever had that happen?

Me, port drive broke the upper locked the engine up at 70 mph boat stayed straight and true came off plane, then a 4 mile idle back to PBC......:faint2:

The further away from the center line that the point of thrust is applied the worse the yaw will be when the thrust is lost.

Darr always talked about this Anthony guy like he was Don Aronow. I find it hilarious that they were in that old POS Skater and one guy was on the throttles and the other driving.........
Hopefully the other involved person heals up quickly. |

I know there is a history here, but sure hate to see someone who worked hard to get their boat ready go through that.
