MTI over at LOTO
 

Friends back in LOTO sent me this pic and said a canopied MTI went over at LOTO today. I was told it was only the driver in the boat at the time and thankfully he was uninjured and escaped through the tunnel floor hatch. Boats can be repaired, people not so much, glad this incident wasn't worse. Everyone stay safe out there!

Is this HP Mafia? I heard they went over but that’s all I heard. Hopefully everyone is OK.

That's what I heard, just wasn't trying to throw them under the bus. They're good guys and s**t happens. Was glad to hear he was ok, that's all that matters imo.

Now I'm hearing there are two in the hospital as a result of this accident. The boat was confirmed as the HP Mafia MTI, and I'm really bummed to now hear there might be two injured occupants. I hope the best for all involved.

Sounds like it happened on the big corner by PB2. 2 occupants were taken to the hospital, one was uninjured. Boat has been loaded on the trailer.

The boat didn't look bad when they pulled it out and I just heard great news that both occupants are fine.

Well, now we have a photo. The bow doesn’t look like a Skater and the deck doesn’t not look like the HP Mafia 388 Skater that rolled in Key West.

Whether it is a MTI, the result of post Key West repairs, or a something home-built is beyond my interest in MTIs.

Good that the accident wasn’t more serious.
