Did you not click on the link? It is the Donzi web site, listing all the separate lines (4) they will be manufacturing. Abandon???????????? Get out your checkbook, they will make you what you want. Same with Statement!!!!!

I was ready to open the link and be horrified…..ummmmmm. I kinda like
them. lol but I like the axopar line too. Dig the dual purpose boats that offer a lot of versatility. Lake or ocean, hot / nice weather equals open
it all up. cool crappy weather equals close it up. Either way you’re running in comfort. Like stated above, this will sell well in Europe. This style boat is everywhere over seas. 1.6mil for the closed cockpit 54’? 800k less than a 50 MTI CC. 1 mil for the cc version? Seems very fair actually.

I see why the disdain and hate. It’s a far cry from what theyve traditionally built. And people do NOT like change. But like stated above, their traditional builds have been stagnant for 20 years. Time for a new approach. I look forward to seeing an actual video walk through and overview when one’s built. Wish them
luck.

IMO this targets the Euro crowd that has established itself in the SE Fla market over the last decade and would also be considered for use as a Yacht tender. Domestic buyers seem to have approved as there are varied models with similar styling in SE Fla. I have noticed similar styling from other manf with respect to its snub nose bow running around Fla, not a fan but there will be some those that will buy with its ability to tranform the rear into a sun deck. You won't see one of these at the Ozarks!!!!, not the buyers but Miami ya I can see them selling a few to make it worth the investment to bring it to market.

No one abandoned anything, people are not buying is what it is.

Go to statement, order a 42 Ultimate, they will build you one. Over the last few years they have built a newer 50 turbine cat that went to Australia (currently for sale) and a yellow and blue 43 Ultimate that also went overseas (middle east).

Also they have an entire cat line with a newer and bigger model coming out, but is that no longer performance since it is o/b cat only?

why would any brand make a factory non ordered boat to sit around hoping to sell one day?

Pardo
Van Dutch
Fjord
Axopar
Vanquish

etc, etc, etc…..

They’re all over the world now and selling well. It’s a departure from a traditional Donzi but new sports boats aren’t popular (by numbers) anymore, the market has shifted.

If it was a new manufacturer and not “Donzi”, I think we’d be praising the boat. Maybe it’s not about the boat, but the American icon Donzi, deserting its roots?

I think it looks great, for that segment of the market.

People just aren't lining up to buy performance v-bottoms anymore and that's what people were expecting to see out of Donzi. Just look at that maroon ZRC, that's been for sale for quite a while. Is it a niche boat? Yes, but they still have a strong following.

Just goes to show that the majority isn't always right.

Thanks. Brad.

And that the niche have bad ideas how to run a profitable buisness building boats for the few that sit and don't sell.
