Seems a lot of boats are going to the open back, that seems cool, and like Tex said at least you can get around the OB's on the back. I wonder if the swim in the up position allows the engines to be tilted out of the water. Would hope so.

They sure look the same.

I checked them out at the show. At that time they were cost effective trying to sign peeps up for spots. This Blue one was actually a very nice boat if you like that look. It had a lot of clever features, and they were in the process of refining a few things. Other than that, it was finished off beautifully. I personally like the closed off version with opening windows for longer runs which we are planning on doing. As we get older, ya, I miss my 43 Nortech's and 40 Skater but getting out of the wind and weather is important especially when traveling longer distances to different marinas. I have had access to a 325 and 375 Grady White DC and ride and weather protection have been great...in the speed department...sucks. The only thing that looks promising is the new Fountain 39DX with trip 400-500's. Fugly or not.. these types of boats are making a bigger splash.

Donzi hasn't been relevant for decades. "Old school" doesn't sell anymore so they need a fresh look, new buyers.
A 22 is timeless but very limited audience for a 5 passenger boat for 175K or whatever it costs now.
The ZRC was great but how many did they sell over the lifetime of the design 50? 75? 100?
I will say the brand crossover might be tough as other brands have already established themselves in that blunt bow category but if it doesn't work, oh well they had nothing to lose at this point.

Now if I had a ton of money, sure have one to use now and then.

Limitless are built in Turkey, lots of beautiful boats coming from there now.
I am curious how Donzi are tied in with them, maybe as a dealer/distributor, are they planning to build them under license, or have they bought the company? I hope they continue to build in Turkey, the fitout and finish on European boats at the moment is stunning.
Lots of videos on tne blue 45, just Google Limitless yachts. Alfred Montana has a 17 minute video……to long for me.
I think they’re stunning, but it’s not what we associate with Donzi. That said, old school Donzi are pretty much dead, maybe they need a whole new direction??
