If you've never used one of these ladders and think from the looks they may be difficult to use, I can assure you they are easier to climb up than many of the swim platform ladders I've had over the years.

That is a great ladder-swim platform setup. A great post, thank you!

This may look a bit ‘commercial’ but it’s the easiest, strongest and simplest ladder I’ve ever used.

In all seriousness.... That's what I do, especially if I've managed to jump in without putting our ladder down first.

As for a ladder, I don't have any GOOD advice for you.

Thanks. Brad.
Again, rather than barfing all over every damn thread you come across, why don’t you just let knowledgable adults comment.

Sorry to the OP for his stupid comments.

Here’s the ladder or very close to what’s mounted under my AL tube platform on my 38ZR. Fairly certain it’s a windline model.

The first comment was obviously made in jest. Laugh a little, would ya? The second is a legitimate suggestion for someone not wanting to start drilling or cutting holes in their hull, especially with staggered outdrives that sit deeper. Or without having to settle for a CC, which he obviously doesn't want to do. I don't know how old OP is, but I'm 53, and I still step up our outdrive on a fairly regular basis. Obviously, it's up the OP, and I'm betting he'll make a sound decision, based on their situation.

Thanks. Brad.

Once again, you’re commenting on something you have no clue about. Not even close to a 20 something power quest. Why don’t you go check out www.shhh.com and spew garbage there.

Use one of the removable dive ladders. The Block mounts off the side or corner of the swim platform. From memory they are no bigger than 3" x 3". Thats all you would see on the platform. The ladder itself you could store up front or under the rear seat.

I'm assuming the the boats you are looking at have either have M6's or NXT's. I'd still have to believe that putting turf on the cavitation plate to ensure you wouldn't slip would still be easier to board versus using a ladder. It literally takes ZERO effort.

Both are good options. No need to get a performance pontoon just yet

That’s what I was thinking. When I add a swim platform to my fishing boat it’ll damn near be a staircase. If you can’t find enough “steps” here you probably should stay in the boat. The props are always going to be a hazard unless you board from the side somehow.
