Have you played with Hydromotive 4 blades? They have worked really well for me in the past on my Fountains, and 36 Spectre. All 4 four boats ran better then with Bravos. I think you can drop your slip numbers and hit triple digits if thats a goal.

I currently run a Bravo28 on our PQ280, but I've been on the hunt for a Hydromotive Q4 27". I've heard/read they are a really good alternative, if not an improvement over the Bravo. So far, the universe has been stingy.
Thanks. Brad.

Thanks for the tip. Honestly I think the boat will hit 100mph now with the right water conditions. That was the only full throttle pull with the new props on water that was smooth as glass. I really like the way the boat planes, cruises and turns with B1 props. I’ve noticed with my previous two boats that tinkering with different props and x-dimensions always resulted in a trade off. To get something better here you were taking from there type of deal. I just hope these motors continue to run as strong as they do and I keep these drives together for a while🤞🏻

Yup. I loose a good 4-5MPH on glass smooth water. The best we ever ran was 78 on a nice, consistent ~6" wind chop. Getting a lot of air under the boat really frees these stepped hulls up. If your 98 was on mirror water, you'll surely be over 100 with some flat, broken up water. And that's awesome.
I totally agree on the trade-off thing. Everything on a boat is a trade-off of some kind. Space for weight. Floorspace for seating space. Speed for drivability. Everything. I still think there's more in mine. I have a labbed B28, but I really don't know what was done to it, other than cut down to about Ø14-3/4". Now that I have the proper hub hardware, We'll likely test it this Friday. We'll see.
Thanks. Brad.
