You`re over thinking this.
I`ve run 1000hp plus with AN fitting on everything .

Good enough for Army and Navy, good enought for me.

The AN thread (also A-N) is a particular type of fitting used to connect flexible hoses and rigid metal tubing that carry fluid. It is a US military-derived specification that dates back to World War II and stems from a joint standard agreed upon by the Army Air Corps and Navy, hence AN.
24 gallons of fuel? Do you just go from fuel dock to fuel dock? lol

Use nylon. Don't use stainless. If a (+) hot wire shorts on the stainlees it's not pretty.

The boat is a 1928 John Hacker design 225 class racer. This design is for 18ft 6 inch long boat. I scaled it up to 25 ft. and added beam to make it two passengers wide.

Default fuel system

Happy New Year All!! 2025 started officially for me today. I have only purchased the Performance Design XS intake manifold. With this purchase I now know where the fuel line connects to the engine so I can place the fuel pump to keep this section of the fuel line under 12 inches long. A new question has hit my mind and I'm not sure how to address it. First with all top feed fuel tanks, and a possibility of having 4 separate spun aluminum tanks for a total capacity of 44 gallons of fuel. How do I plumb all four tanks together to feed one fuel pump. Originally I was going to have a bottom drain type plumbing connection so gravity would keep the fuel pickup point fueled, Now with only top draw fuel pickup, I'm a bit lost as to how to plumb. I also would like to know what brand fuel pump has been found to be the best?
