SecondWind,
Good to know. My guess is that, MAYBE, PQ used some anti-seize or something to keep the screws from fusing to the nuts, whereas Baja may not have. Who knows. Our boats are the same year, so, hopefully, if I ever have to remove my seat frames, I won't have the same problem your shop didn't have. What did they charge you? If you don't mind me asking.... Thanks. Brad. $2700 for flooring $800 to rebuild driver side bolster, it was falling apart. Everything looks great! |
You payed almost $3k for that !?!?
I guess if they installed it and had to remove seats and stuff you gotta pay more. I`m at $1500 cockpit and rear step and between the hatches all the way down 3 color 9mm. |
Yes I paid $3500 for that. I just dropped the boat off. They did come to my house to take measurements which is a two hour drive from their shop (round trip). I’m sure the materials didn’t cost much, mostly paying for labor. I’m used to paying $3500 to have something fixed on the boat. It was nice to see something vastly improved for $3500. I felt like I was winning today🤣

The company we spoke to at the boat show in Cincinatti gave us a soft quote (non-committal without seeing the boat) of $2200, and that was 2yrs ago, and, supposedly, the "boat show special", which we obviously didn't jump on, so your $2700 doesn't sound too far off the mark. Thanks. Brad. |

Wind, as long as you`re happy that`s all that matters.
Bradster, a place in Loto. I always negotiate however, $1500 wasn`t the first price. |

Ryan11, Not sure why you would think that.
The design and material isn`t changing and it`s snap in so how could I get less quality? Customers negotiate with me all the time, I have a certain number in mind which doesnt include cutting corners. Once they get to my I have to cut corners price then they can go somewhere else. Slow times I give way better pricing, LOTO is a ghost town so I`m taking advantage of that. He started high, I started low and we met in the middle. he was happy and so was I , win win. If you don`t negotiate then you`re just costing yourself money, what`s the worst thing that could happen? https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...c658475936.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...d2afab05b8.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...c5a796be51.jpg |
