Been a great weekend so far!! Chillin today.

Thoughts from a first timer.
I liked it best earlier in the week when it was less busy.
Pros:
Got to catch up with a lot of friends, also people Ive met on Facebook but not in person.
Really good strip club
Much cleaner than expected
Good food even thou we hate seafood.
Had a blast driving a scooter around (probably the best part)
Seeing the races in person was cool
Great group of good looking people.
Lots of cool hardware.
Lots of stuff walking distance.
No duded making out with dudes as I expected.

Cons:
Every bar has live loud music. I have bad tinnutis,ear plugs are a must for me.
Dont enjoy yelling during conversations or during dinner.
Street party and later in the week everything is too crowded., service sucks.
Everything is expensive as fuc k . 2 drinks, 2 shots, and fries= $100? $50 hats? That`s dumb.

Oh yeah I also love the new Nortech

I think it was one of the best race weeks I have been to in the last 20 years. I do not appreciate all of the pot smoking, that stuff gives me a headache and trying walk Duvall was like being trapped a van with Cheech and Chong, we were on Sunset Key all day Sunday and even out there the pool area was infected. Key West will always be expensive but you just need to change your mindset to the fact that we are warm, the cops are really cool as a whole, its safe, beautiful, and there are a ton of race boats & friends present "that's worth paying a little extra for in my eyes".

We were one of many stuck in the airport when all flights cancelled because of wind. Can’t get out til Thursday. All rental cars were gone. People were ubering to Miami. We opted to stay til Thursday. Hopefully can get home then.

whelp, actually got a car. Driving to Miami in the morning. Flight direct home. Nice drive up the coast in the morning. Chill day today with some more good food and drinks. It’s cold here today!!!

Glad you’re getting out Tank. Hopefully we can get out of Lauderdale tomorrow. I’m already checked in so hopefully it does t get cancelled. We had a good ride up yesterday pulling the 42X. Stopped at Gilbert’s for lunch.

We left a day early and they had us boarded and buckled — then completely deboard to switch planes, then right back on the original after we were all off, lol

Agree with a lot of summary's.

Pricey, you have to know that going in. Totally agree that as the week goes on, service takes a little bit. Also, the POT is terrible. I guess you just have to accept it and move on / away.

Sunday night, my flight was cancelled for Monday morning. Scrambled to get a flight out of Miami. Went to get a rental car and there were none available contrary to what they told me over the phone. So I booked a GreyHound out of town for first thing. Surprisingly it wasn't all that bad. Felt like Gunny Highway from Heartbrake Ridge, only I had my GF to keep my company.

Side Note:

Stopped by the Cigarette trailer over at the Conch. Must've been 8:01, as I went to buy a Hat and the guy told me they were closed and I had to come back the next day (Rudely). Good thing I was drinking all day and I told him, "I don't F@^%'ing think so, I'll never come back or buy something from a ****ty company ever again". And I usually buy my kids and nephew some swag for Christmas every year.

Later in the evening I was wearing long sleeve dry fit and was sweating to death. The Montlic trailer was right there by the Auction so I bought a short sleeve shirt. The GF seen a nice tank top she liked but only had one small left and it was hanging on the wall. The lady pulled it down and refused to take my money for it. I'm a DW fan, but now I'm a Montlic fan.

All in all, great time and my liver needs a week repreive.
