empty tank

So my fuel tank is dry after pumping all old fuel out ...any suggestions to avoid condensation for winter storage.

fill the tank with fresh fuel and add stable to the fuel for the winter storage

I don't start running her til middle summer, wouldn't it be better to keep it empty then fill fresh fuel?.. shelf life would already have 8 months on fuel if I fuel now..
was thinking anything around for condensation absorbent to drop in now then fill fresh before use in summer.

For 40+ years I've just left the fuel in the tank wherever it's at, stabilized it and ran it the next spring....never an issue. Last year I hardly ran the boat, didn't put fresh fuel in it until August, no issues. Never really worried about any of this.

Ditto. Been doing it that way for a long time. Never any problems.

I'll fuel up with the half measure approach suggested by seafordguy.... my engines run on 89 at the pump, but doesnt gas as its stored lose octane?... it was great when I ran up on lake George I fuel up on non- ethanol gas stations.
No such non-ethanol thing here in Jersey......I'll fill up with a slightly higher octane & do the stabilizer ..thanx all!

I fill with alcohol free gas some stabilizer run the engine do oil change and good to go for next summe, unfortunately alcohol free gas over a buck a gallon more, never had a problem

I have never, ever, in 50 years of boating heard ANYONE drain a tank on a boat for storage...
