I have a 2002 Crew Cab 2500HD, with the Edge, mine is only 90hp/250tq, I have put 9k on it with out a glitch. I also have a cool air box and My wife is getting me an exhaust for my birthday. Without the exhaust I ran a 14:41, the trick is not to spin the tires, once the Edge notices slip it shuts down the power to save the Allison tranny, I managed that time in 4 wheel drive and 78 degree temps. I will sell my Edge for 700.00, I want the 125/300 Edge.

My truck has absolutely no problem pulling my 4200lb boat,i just want to have some fun with some of these imports around here.To cold up here to feel hp on the water so i figured ,chip the Duramax for some cold weather fun.

t ry going into b+dpower.com site they sell e z amp about $800.I have been using about 6mo. w/out any problems it has 4 levels40/60/75/90hp.made a big differance you will love the power ,i ran a accura heads up to 85mph with a3500 crue cab 4x4

I do drive a chipped diesel and it's a powerstroke, but I pull gross weights over 20,000 lbs alot. Seed in spring, boat and tractors in summer. You obviously have not been aroung the new 6.0 powerstroke so I don't believe your statement about the dmax dusting any powerstroke. Take alook at what is pulling the majority of rv's on the road. That is a good test , lots of weight and wind drag.

Forget all the other bull$hit. I work on these things everyday and have done several modifications to the DMAX. The bully dog dino dominator 2 with propane injection. bully dog exhaust, K&N air filter you will smoke a Z06 Vette! The owner of the dealer I work at had the "Duramaxamizer" chip installed and then had his engine dynoed to the tune of 2500.00. It does not come close to the bullydog set up. I have no affiliation with them or any reason to say good things only but my experience.

better do some research on adding propane injection to the bully dog chip. that particular chip advances the timing to the point that when the propane is introduced you have a grenade effect.
