I got my money back no problem. I then went to another dealer and ordered the truck. I got the chance to drive the new 6L diesel, and all I can say is Holy Chit!!! The power of the motor was incredible, and you could not even feel the trans shift! I immediately told the salesman I wanted that motor. Boy did it come with a premium!!! The motor and trans upgrade was $1400 for the trans, and $500 for the motor. They also would barely budge on the price of the truck. The salesman just kept shaking his head no. Being the savy negotiator, I bought it anyway. Now I have to wait till about April for delivery.

Ken,
I just test drove that new 6.0 also. I'm a GM guy but wow that truck had balls! I then drove a Duramax and it was not as ballsy. I feel the GM truck rode better though. The Ford salesman said they werent dealing on the 6.0 either. But he did take 3 grand off.I wasn't ready to put money down so I didn't squeese him for more. Did you get any off the price? I decided to keep my truck for another year and see how the 6.0 works out with that new trany. I did think it down shifted a little hard. Good luck with the new truck!

Gary,

They took nothing off the price, but did up my trade value. As soon as I left the parking lot my head turned into a big lollypop!! Sucker!!! Now I have buyers remorse because I know I could have gotten the price down more or at least I could have shopped around some more! My own fault, live and learn.....again!!

Ken,
Did you leave a deposit? I would cancel the deal. The salesman just called me up to ask when I was ordering. I told him I was still thinking about it. He told me he could do more on the price! I'm not gonna do it this year. You can deal with these guys. Take 15% off the sticker. And you can go up a little from there, not too much though. Then, tell them what you want on trade. Be firm! I wish I knew about this before you bought.

Yea, me too. Deposit is down, done deal! Thanks for the help though.; My problem is impulse buying, and a mild case of A.D.D. which does not allow me to focus very well. If spending a little more than I should is my only problem, I can deal with it. It will not be in untill April, so I have time to save and put some more money down and lower my payments.

Well, like I said before good luck with it! I was really impressed with th 6.0 I'm gonna wait, but I'm pretty sure when it's time I'm gonna go with the Ford. Like I said before I'm a GM man, but Ford really did a good job on this one! You getting a dually? I was looking at a 250 superduty crew cab short bed XLT sport 4x4

Bobby,

I appreciate the offer but this is a done deal. I did not get hosed, I think I just have a case of buyers remorse.

Besides, I am a Ford man
