Re: Shoes on boat or not?
Well, let me tell you, I learned a valuable lesson one Memorial Day weekend at Shooters when, in my 'haste', I let three HOT chics board the old yellow Bumpin Uglies and one of them didn't take her shoes off and had on heels!! well, needless to say she stepped right in the rear seat, catching the bottom edge of the back (vertical) portion of the seat and tore a HUGE hole in it!!... I couldn't be too pissed....she was the hottest one of them all, and I should have made it clear...no shoes allowed!!!

The only shoes allowed in my boat is sailing shoes aka sebago docksides, sperry topsiders.
These shoes does not collect stones or anything under them, and they bite to the deck like glue so you do not fall overboard. And I always have a towell on the sunbed when docked. |

Apparently you never had a girl with high heels on your boat!!! I had to replace my sun-pad due to high heel incident :drink: . I am with boat me: NO SHOES, NO SMOKING, NO ****ING in the boat at ANY TIME! |
Re: Shoes on boat or not?
My dad doesnt prefer shoes because of a accident we had with our boat.
One of his workers, who is kind of careless was going to walk up on the deck and he had his shoes on and kicked the antenna on the side of the boat against the glass and shattered the glass and we are still trying to find a replacement peice because its really hard to get made and formula has changed there model or whatever. |
Re: Shoes on boat or not?
I don't mind if people wear shoes in the boat as long they're deck or boating shoes. I've never had to tell someone to take their shoes off, they always ask before climing aboard.
The people that we boat with in the Chi-Town area are usually pretty good about respecting other peoples property. Or at least, the people that we associate with are anyway, I think it's all common sense. You have to respect your own property before you can respest someone elses. When I allow someone on my bow, I know I won't have a problem later down the road whether they had shoes on or not. As for the upholstery, noone steps on the seats or sun pad with shoes on unless there are towels covering it up. |
