I have carpeted interior, no big deal with shoes as long as they are clean on the way in. |

If you care about your boat NO SHOES if you don't then .... you must have money too burn.

Re: Shoes on boat or not?
I don't mind shoes in the carpeted cock pit but if you are on fiberglass no shoes.
|
Re: Shoes on boat or not?
I always tell people, "If you don't walk across your livingroom furniture with your shoes on, Don't walk on my white vinyl with your shoes on."

Re: Shoes on boat or not?
Loosen up with the shoes, jeezzzz. Clean non-marking soles on my boat, that's about it.
If anyone has been offshore in 5-6 footers you know you need shoes, or some knew feet when you get back. I always wear sneakers with light color soles and take them off when we hang out. If you can't sit, walk, or hang out on what you have then why own it. |
Re: Shoes on boat or not?
Wow Bad Girl, what made you dig up this thread?
I take off my shoes when I enter someones house, its only polite. I like the feel of the sole under my feet when offshore (pun intended). And I've had my Sonic in 10' seas, I'm very comfortable without shoes. Boating with shoes on doesn't feel right. |
