Well since Cingular has purchased AT&T GSM is here to stay and the frequencies are more conducive to better quality and quantity. The total merger and deal is "done" and will be finalized before years end. Right now Cingular has a family plan going into effect 5/15.
$99.95 3000 anytime minutes/Free unlimited nationwide Cingular and eventually AT&T cell to cell and unlimited nights and weekends with up to 4 additional phones for $9.95/mos additional ea. The service will be much improved when merged and they will be the largest carrier. Seems like a good deal to me.

I have been happy with T-Mobile.

AT&T can stick there prices up there a$$. My AT&T phone shows Cingular on the screen, doesnt get service in many areas it used to, and I still have to pay to get out of the contract. So I pay $20 per month to let it sit. I am also with T-Mobile. 1/8th the cost. Great customer service.

Also the government is already legislating the "Up Skirt Feature" It was just on the news last night.

I wonder how they will go about that with people and their picture phones?

Also, isn't there now streaming video available for the cell phone?

We know not many can drive and talk on the phone at the same time. Now they will be watching video?
