a lot of people dont understand how much a little animal can bring to ones life. Im sure you will miss the cat.

Sorry to hear about the loss. Pets do become a part of the family. Sure is alot of great advice in this thread. I would wait a while and in due time on some weekend stop by an animal shelter "just to look" and i'm sure your wife will make a decision on her own. Good luck.

I would like to take this time to thank everyone for their sympathies & encouragement. For those of you who shared their losses as well, I feel for all of you. This made things a heck of a lot better that behind all of this Horsepower & boat talk we can share much more. Thanks again & I would tell my wife all about his, but she thinks I work all day.
