I personally have never seen a O/L with anything less than HUGE power. Who can really comment on how fast they are with stock power?

Nick I was under the impression that the Galdiators handled rather well. Can you elaborate more on your comment?

Thanks

i think todd and tres would tell you different!! it's who's run'n the boat!...all boats will go slower when you make a mistake...forgiving ones, no big deal...less fogiving ones like a cig. will bite you in the ass!...tres and todd don't make many mistakes

Any of you guys familiar with the 388 Hustler "Total Loss" up in Boston, MA? It has twin K/E 750's and is suppose to run about 110.

Every one has there own opinion. I speek from what I see. I have run 18 poker runs this year and I have never been passed buy a OL. fountain ,388,or any other hp500 powerd boat.Thay all test and boast big mph. but I have ran them all down and passed them. Hell I have driven them all .The velocity is still the fastest. This pased tuesday 1-2 foot chop 3/4 tanks of fuel 84.5 with 4 people. The boat has ran 88.6 and no it is not light 8700# I drove across the state (fl) to drive a new boat that the owner said would run 87 .And gues what it ran 81 with 4 people.A race boat is a totaly diferant boat. When was the last time you seen a 388 fast tech run 89. The phantom I drove ran 88 and it was a ball to drive! And the bad boys when you make a poker run boat call me Im interested. See yal at the Miami boat show Tom D.

Back4More says,
"A short-stagger 38' Fountain is what you need"...One could buy the one of those other ones mentioned and go fast, but it won't handle as well.
Reggie boy puts a lot of R/D into his bottoms to make them as fast and safe as possible...your getting a fine tuned design in a Fountain.
