I`m not sure what to think about this. I have had MANY Pay Pal transactions (30+ per week) and have never had any problems whatsoever.

Does anyone else have any first hand information?

Kurt.

I've used paypal many times with no problems. The link posted looks like a bunch of sour grapes crap to me. That website is confusing and unorganized, possibly on purpose. Sorry but IMHO paypal is solid, and that web page is full of **it.

I have used it myself a few times without incident, but the Scam Alert on there looks real. It's hackers outside Paypal that are causing the problems.

Thumbs down Paypal

Just sold a Z3 BMW on Ebay for $12500-00, no problem ....Buyer uses Paypal, everything seems cool. I check my account and Paypal states the $12500 is in account. I meet buyer at the airport & sign over the Title , get back to my office 4 hours later to recieve an e-mail from Paypal stating the funds have neen withdrawn, buyers credit card co. did a turn around and cancelled the credit of $12500-00...Payapl just electronically yanks the money out of my account. Now I'm in the middle of an investigation, no car & $12500 poorer. Don't trust Paypal, extremely difficult to deal with. They charge a huge commisssion for sub-standard service. The buyer is working on getting finance, my car is in New England & I am in Florida
What did I learn, release the goods when you have the cash in hand.
