If that is indeed true Nort............there is no excuse for that.....that is exactly what I am talking about.......It is in extremely poor taste.....given the history......unbelievable...........What merit is there in introducing his son?? His son is innocent I understand that, but should Stu be bringing him up on stage to pull a stunt like this.........I dont know....I think common sense would prevail.....but that is just my opinion I guess.....

I don't think Stu thought that would happen, and also probably regrets it. After all, Ben's kid didn't do anything and looked like he might have been 10 when the $hit hit the fan.

Stu's head was probably spinning from all the other distractions on stage moments before. :D :D :D

SPWilson 03-12-2003 08:41 PM

So, he brings the kid up? WHY? What reason in the world would he bring the kid up and show him off? We know the answer, and it's REALLY stupid. I just can't believe that someone, ANYONE, would even think about that. Not even considering the kids position, WHY in the hell would anyone with even HALF a brain do it? Man, now i have heard everything!

rockstrmkr 03-12-2003 08:44 PM

Regardless of your opinions of Benny... please leave Lou out of this dicussion.
He was a little boy when his dad went away.
He's a good guy...leave him be please!

Call Bobby. You know the number.

FACT 1. SACCENTI DOES NOT HAVE A 47 MOLD AS WE SPEAK

FACT 2. THE "APACHE POWERBOATS" THAT ALL THIS HISTORY CAME FROM IS OWNED BY MCMANUS....TRADEMARK PAPERS PROVES THAT

FACT 3. SACCENTI IS "APACHE PERFORMANCE BOATS" AND/OR "WARRIOR POWERBOATS" SO I WAS LAST INFORMED.

ANYTHING ELSE? ALL THIS OVER A SIMPLE QUESTION WHICH WAS NOT ANSWERED YET....

rockstrmkr 03-12-2003 08:50 PM

SPWilson 03-12-2003 08:59 PM

Sling, you may want to re-investigate a few of your comments, they are not all accurate. You may have been "last informed" too long ago.

SLINGSHOT 03-12-2003 09:00 PM

OK WELL MAYBE....CARE TO ENLIGHTEN ME ON WHICH ONES, OR IS THAT A SECRET THAT MUST BE KEPT ON HE OSO BOARD

SABER28 03-12-2003 09:03 PM

spitfire, don't get to bent about the sig. on my posts, it's just a joke designed to get this type of thread going:D

i do admire ben for his racing efforts, the man had some BALLS;)

Payton 03-12-2003 09:03 PM

Nort, I was just as suprised. He was introduced as a celebrity.

Rockstrmkr, I agree he should've been left completely out of it.

spitfire1 03-12-2003 09:04 PM

Joke or no joke.....it is in bad taste......especially on this website.......

PhantomChaos 03-12-2003 09:06 PM

Hey Payton!

I know.....weird. Anyway, the only celebrity at the FPB Party was my Johnson. :D :D :D :D

SABER28 03-12-2003 09:15 PM

whether you like it or not mr. kramer was a large player in the early days of apache, from financing to racing. without him apache would not have it's bad boy image that makes them popular to this day.

Steve 1 03-12-2003 09:15 PM

Sling

The fact is only Bobby Saccenti is Apache And he does Employ Professional Boat-Builders on Staff. with that said:

With the tooling now at Apache we could build to 50'. Now as for a one-off the imagination/money would be the only limit I could see.

spitfire1 03-12-2003 09:19 PM

I agree with you that his presence was felt in the early days on the racing circuit......but I think that Bob Saccenti had just as much to do with the success as Ben did.....true...he did come to the table with the financial backing....but aside from that...from what I have heard ,he certainly had few redeeming qualities.......and I wouldnt try qualifying your post script in that manner......

SABER28 03-12-2003 09:23 PM

again the sig. line is a joke, lets just say i like the pot (what a choice of words) well stirred with a touch of controversy to keep it interesting around here:D

maybe my next post will be a reggie bash:p

PhantomChaos 03-12-2003 09:24 PM

We all know who Ben Kramer really is..........

Apache has NO secrets and the length of the Apache thread proves it.

NOT TRUE, i saw Steve1 build a 33' cat on a showstring budget...and it won the World Championship with NO testing, first time in the water, and with a pair of 200 Mariners...and it ran against the BEST of that class in ROUGH water!

Becca 03-12-2003 09:31 PM

At least this didn't turn into a Michigan get-together, no posse Saber?

SABER28 03-12-2003 09:31 PM

he's probably the one thing you and i agree on, just goes to show you that people from all sides of the political spectrum hate R.F.:D

SABER28 03-12-2003 09:32 PM

becca don't understand your post??

SLINGSHOT 03-12-2003 09:33 PM

FAIR ENOUGH, IF TODD REALLY HAS THE ONLY MOLD, I REALLY AM NOT KNOCKING IT I JUST WOULDNT BUY ONE UNTIL HIS QUALITY WAS PROVEN, BECAUSE I DONT THINK HE HAS MUCH EXPERIENCE BUILDING BOATS....NOTHING AGAINST HIM

Audiofn 03-12-2003 09:41 PM

Why all the mystery?
