I drive the Reindl One Design boats all the time in Poker Runs and such with the doors off. Not sure why it would be a big deal for a woman, Reindl has had many racers that were female in One Design and have never had any sign of an accident.

The ultimate is taking the 28' Vamp Pleasure model over a nice 4-5 footer.

the ONE DESIGN is a GREAT boat to learn in...it HAS to be one of the safest boats out there. if you make a mistake the boat just goes slower...it's a drivers boat, not so much a throttleman and set-up boat.....i think everyone should spend some time in one...there is a lot to be learned that could not be in a pleasure boat....bobby fisher came to F2 from one of these...i think all his seat time in one is really going to pay off for him! ...give me a call TL!

Cheryl takes ours of and puts it on the trailer,,, she drives whenever the urge takes hold,, she is great at it.

It's a kick watching all the " experts " at the launch fumble with the trailer.

You see the ones that dont know us mumbling to themselves about the " girl " in the go fast. watching there jaws drop as she hits the trailer dead on kicks it in the azz once to the bow stop, one crank on the winch, safety strap and off we go !!!!!

My girlfriend will help lauch, dock and even clean the boat. However she will not drive it. I've asked her many times to learn for safty sakes. But she just won't.

Dianne's a great driver as long as I don't ask her to dock it. She's also one of the best deckhands and boat cleaners I've ever seen. (Lucky me.) Hopefully, we'll get the docking thing worked out this summer....
