Hey there "robsunlimited" .....
Why are your panties in a 'knot' ? Who really cares if Bob was there first or not? It really only matters if there was a checkered flag out ....

OL had some sweet boats there, but there were a lot of other manufacturers with some pretty great rides as well!

For the rest of us that actually have 'bottoms' to our pockets .... we will let you guys argue who can spend the most, only to argue again ... to see who was there first!!!

obiously, maximus, you were not there at the front of the pack to witness bobs 42 outerlimits run in front of Freedom in rough water... or after the lunch stop in the calm water to witness Bob run away from them again, if you do not belive me you can look at the video that was playing during dinner that showed the whole thing. Jim Lee was a very nice guy and had no axe to grind nor did Bob. They both had nice boats and no ego. Some other people should take a lesson about class from some of these guys!!

Jim Lee has been one of my best friends for over 10 years. Adam is correct. He is THE nicest guy you will meet. He has literally "been there and done that" so many times that he no longer has anything to prove. I am just happy that "Freedom" made it. He has had some problems with the power recently.

I wondered where "Lee Aerospace," ended up. God I loved that boat. Do you still have it? He has a 35 Mistress T/S whipple charged as his fun boat now and I tell him constantly that he should get another 28.

Awww man I wanna play!

Default you are correct

I was not in the front witnessing the challange. i was fighting my way through the pack to finally get lost somewher in ft myers.... no worries ...I had good company.

My information came from a passanger in the ITS boat who was there and I trust did not bs me...

So...if Bobs boat 2x 1450 runs ...what 148 (perfect conditions). the freedom boat 2x1100 runs 137. and the transom was ripped off during the first leg.

I personally doubt that a 42 OL could run as fast as a 46 "classic "deck skater in rough water.

Plus didnt freedom have his family on board?

maximus

I think Strip Poker had the best paint job at the poker run

Default Beware

There is a new boat currently under construction that will be settling all of this rhetoric.

Beware of HELLFIRE!

MAXIMUS FOR YOUR UNADULTERED VERSION POSTED 12 POST'S EARLIER,

THE DISCUSSION WAS ABOUT THE SCOPE RUN IN LONG BEACH.
WHERE THE WATER WAS THE ROUGHEST POKER RUN I'VE EVER RUN IN .(sarasota was kids play)

I ALSO KNOW JIM LEE HE IS A GREAT GUY, AND EVEN HE WOULD TELL YOU HE HAS BEEN SURPRISED MORE THAN ONCE AT HOW FAST THE OUTERLIMITS RUN IN THE BIG ROUGH STUFF.

AND NO HIS FAMILY WASN'T WITH HIM ON THIS RUN . THE KIDS STOOD BEHIND WITH THE BABYSITTER AT THE POOL.

MAY NOT KNOW EVERYTHING BUT I ONLY SPEAK WHAT I DEFINITELY KNOW!!!!!!!!!

AND YES BOB RAN OUT FRONT WITH NO PROBLEMS.
