I was doing some research a while ago and I came across a company that produces a high performance SS type alpha drive. Don't remember the name but I'm sure if you look you can find it..they weren't cheep but they looked good.

I have one, behind a 350 with a 174 on top. Its on a 89' Checkmate, turning a 22p at 5200 runs 70mph... Looking to sell, going to a BB and a Bravo. PM me your e-mail or # if intrested, as I work graveyard.

Also, my prop guy said that the SS would probably work really well with an extension box too.
