OK...a question for the 'real boaters' here:Just aft of the throttle controls there are two buttons with the word "Silencer" between them. What are they supposed to do? I press 'em, nothing happens.

switchable exhaust ( thru transom or swim platform / vs. thru drive If it doesnt do anything maybe the air compressor or the shutters in the exhaust are bad

Ummmmm... Maybe it had mufflers?!? Kaamas can't run the exhaust through the props. That has to be for mufflers. BTW -- does it have the dry exhaust?

Dunno what 'dry exhaust' means. It's got four big shiny pipes that go up then angle down and out the rear wall, making copious noise while sitting still. Seems to quiet down when going fast.
