Wes...you're right, it would pull that nice new boat of yours right to my house with very little effort...I'd be more than happy to prove it also

Go with the Ford, I have a 1999 Ford F-350 with the PowerStroke it would pull anything you want.

I bought a new Chevy diesel this year and love it, but if the Ford would have been 7k cheaper, I'd spent 2k on a good stereo cranked it up and not heard that rattle trap engine and kept 5k in my pocket

I am totally a GM guy, but for $7K less, go with the Ford. Stick the deal for the Ford in front of the Chevy guy, and see if he comes down. I would pay $2K more for the Chevy.

$7000 less...Go Ford. I've driven Chevies for 39 years , still have four in the garage , but bought a PSD ex cab SRW last week and I'm impressed as he11 My buddys got a 94 with 180,000 miles on it and still going strong. Oops , except for the "5" transmissions , but the newer ones are better.

I just went to a horse auction in Kentucky and it was a sea of Ford PSD's. It was like a Ford Ralley. You wouldnt think anyone else built a truck. The new Powerboat mag tests a GM with the Duramax. They didnt seem to like the power delivery for towing. Peak HP was just below redline and peak torque was at a higher (1800rpm) RPM than the Dodge or Ford.
