I'm way too conservative to do that paint on my boat...i mean look at the 28...it was all white!

now as for the power...that's a different story...I'd really like to build a pair of N/A 750hp monsters...

I noticed that first 28 you posted has 454's - I can't imagine the shoehorn you'd need to get a pair of big blocks in there. A friend of mine has a 272 Formula with 454's and it is a cast iron ***** to do some things - I can't imagine that it would be any easier on the Cig...

Maybe he's hoping that the long-rumored Aronow movie will start a nostalgia trend, and all the Don wanna-bes will be looking for a Cig that looks showroom stock circa 1973.
I mean, it's obviously a nice boat restored to pristine condition. But for $70K, I can probably pick up a decent early 'Gun or a 38' flatdeck, or a Cafe with bigger power and more modern drives.
But hey, that's just me...

. The bank came and got it 1 month later! Hahaha MotherF---er!Also, a friend has one of 3 272 Formulas with twin 502's in it!! It was the last year they made the 272 and Joe Harwood from Arrowhead Yacht club demanded that they have 502's for his order. They ran 75mph and were really cool boats. It has the "Nassau" paint sceme on it.

Bill272 from the board has a 272 (surprise!) - he says he's got it down to only 2 hours to replace a water pump... no thanks, I'd like a little room to work - my checkbook's not big enough to pay someone to do it for me!
