Oh right Strike....I need ot be in NY like I need a hole in the head...although a trip around the Island might be nice....and a little Northern trip to Canada t see the "canadian ballet" would be okay too.....

Gearhead you're on the right track but not quite.....rememeber I got a whole quart out of her and it stopped all at once.....then I put two back in to track it and nothing came back out....Not good....any guesses.......you're gonna see how easy it was to overlook....trust me....still feel like a Moron.....

BTW so far 6.5 quarts out and still have the filter and a slow drip.....so add in the extra 1 quart I put back in along with the first 1 quart that came out and what is in the filter I would have about 6.5 quarts in there draining out......funny how that is the same amount I put in when I changed it last.....DOH!!!!

On and it looks okay water wise so far......none is good...fingers crossd though......

.........Was the drain hose outlet just
slightly lower than the the oil pan
"full" level ??
Like, even with the "add" mark level ?

You guys are close but not really..........I think this is why I didn't even think about it too........the drain hose was kinked.....right under the oil pan .....felt like a tool when I actually looked at it....

Well all done and a new dipstick too......did I mention that I had to disembowel the oil filter to remove it.....
