Steve, very nice and clean looking thunder.. Tantrum has a Tantrum and that thing is built Rock solid.
what kind of speeds are you seeing w/ just the 454 mag ?? If I had to guess I would think about 64 ??

My guess would be 65ish. We are actually brokering this for a friend, I'll call him this afternoon. For a couple bills you can add boost and put you in the 70's. Solid boat that can handle alot more most boats it's size and still have a comfortable ride.

i have a 280 velocity boat does fine in rough if you know how to drive it .need to get the boat up on to once saw a friend in his go around a 280 powerplay in 4 to6 ft stuff no problum

I've got a '97 BOSS 272, no gelcoat problems. Freshwater only though. Great lake boat, plenty of room pretty good for overnight. Were gonna see what mine will do with a pro-charged 540 this weekend... hopefully.
