I know it's over 1 month away, but just wanted to ask who's going? I've never been there for canal day and want to know what it's like? Will there be enough dockage?

I'm north of Philly and would like to meet up with some people for the ride down. Maybe meet at Dave & Busters docks. I believe the date is June 28th. Chime in if you're interested.

Bring lots of fenders and beaded necklaces!!! Place gets packed!!! A huge raft up in the center of the harbor!!! Have fun I'll be in the Thunder On the Bay poker run, this may be a safer alternative I hope!!!

That's a busy weekend in Chesapeake City. Haven't been there in a few years, but dockage is always a problem- I've seen 'em tied 3 deep at the S. Ches. City dock (sucks for the boat on the dock- everyone tramples over it!).

It IS a good time, though. I'm not sure you'll want to make it an all-day thing, but it's a good place to stop and strech your legs for awhile and get some grub. I recommend the Tap Room- great crabs/ brew. Don't know yet if I'll make it this year.

Not necassarily someplace you'd want to take the kids. But certainly a good time for adults
I've always ended up rafted up in the middle somewhere , but they have a free shuttle running around to take you ashore .
