Default terrible sunday

everything started very cool this morning, boat was cleaned when i arrived there.my girl brought cold drinks,cigars etc.we filled the gas and left the marina around 14:20.
then just after 2 minutes oil-smoke and smell aterted in the boat,first i thought its the exhaust wrap i installed on saturday cause it burns a little for the first week but then i realized its oil smell.in 10 sec after that smoke oil pressure went seriously down on the engine(my side ) .i stopped.my engine compartment is like hell ,hot and very small which makes it salmost impossible for me to fit in with my big a.s
my steering system is connected to single engine,hyralic pump stuff and its connected to this engine.
i stayed in the middle of sea,there was noone to pull me to the shore.
waited like 20 minutes to engines get cool and went under engine compartment there was no serious amount of oil in the bilge ,very small amount in engine.

i had to make a desicion ;
-stay there and wait for someone to come and pull me or
-restart the engine and try to reach the marina ( there was no sound coming from the bearings like takatakataka... i am quite experienced about blowing engines.but i was calculating the cost of repair at the same time.)

i choose the second one: and we arrived by chance!.But first we waited like 20-30 minutes for the wind to carry us near the marina then full throttle straight in ...

i added oil and started the engine again : everything looks ok
but its dark and i am too big to fit in the engine room so i am not sure if everything is ok...

i will see what exactly happened tomorrow.

my advice: never put single hyrolic pump , never put big engines to small boats....

I think you need an outfit like Seatow on the Bosphorus!

Default timucin: Your stories are so cute!

Good thing you had your cigars!

Hope the ULOP doesn't happen again!
