Course, mines an '89 Bravo, is yours newer with a relocated fill port? All the Bravo's I have had are like this. The drain/fill plug is where it is shown in the picture and the vent plug is up on the side. These are 2002 Bravo "XZ" drives, but the 2000 and 2001 Bravo Ones were the same way. Sounds like they must have redesigned somewhere between 99 and 2000. Dock |

I built the same thing out of a garden insecticide sprayer. $9.99 at Wal-Mart. You can use it anywhere and it goes slow enough to not make a mess..........

Hey Dock...is that a fuel pump??? Just wondering cause most are cooled by the fuel passing through them.....will oil pose any sort of problem? I do like how nice and small this package is.

Wally,
Yes it is a fuel pump. I bought it from a guy that has an auto parts store next to my business. He knew I was looking for some type of pump and he recommended it. He has used one before for the same type of application with gear oil for cars. Talked like it should last pretty long. I touched it after use last night and did not notice that it was hot. It seemed to have no trouble at all pumping the oil. Just would be nice it it was a little faster or higher volume. Will keep you posted. Total I have less than $45.00 in everthing and the hand pumps go for $10.00 and they don't last long, so what the heck!. Dock |
