Now we can tell who REALLY knows NASCAR. How many people besides Bobby and I ever heard of Holman/Moody?

Most people into the history of offshore would, since a bunch of boats were running their engines in the 60's and 70's.

That thing doesn't look anything like my 69 GTO did. I'm sure it doesn't sound like it did either.

Call it a GTO and I won't buy it. Give it a new name and I would at least take a look at it.

I think it shows a great lack of imagination that car manufactures have to use classic car names to draw attention to their products. Especially when the results are so poor.

SONICDRIVER, I BELIEVE YOU WILL FIND GTOs GOING FOR THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OVER MSPR!DEALERS ARE BUYING ALLOCATIONS FROM OTHER DEALERS AT MSRP.AFTER THE FIRST THOUSAND HIT THE MARKET THEN PRICES MIGHT FALL, BUT THERE IS A LOT OF PEOPLE WILLING TO PAY A PREMIUM'S TO BE THE FIRST ON THE BLOCK WITH A NEW PRODUCT

JOHN G, Your last sentence is the ONLY reason dealers will get MSRP and over for the new GTO. People who pay that, and there will be some people who do, are just adult teenyboppers who want the newest thing, while other people who know value and true American muscle would rather cut their left testicle off then pay anything close to MSRP.

Anyone heard about SLP and Pontiac fighting over the Judge title? Seems SLP copyrighted it.
