Default Jon, my sincere condolences.

A week ago, a friend brought over his new Ducati Monster 800 ie. He let me drive it to Hammond and back to Diversey Harbor to hook up with the guys doing the C.O.P.S. run. Went to lunch and was going down Sheffield at Fullerton and this d-bag takes a left in front of us like weren't there. Nowhere to go except maybe through his passenger window...Lock up the Brembos...bike goes down (around 25mphish). Bruised ribs, bruises...$3000.00 damage to two week old Duc.

And the BASTARD drove off and left us for dead! There is no way he didn't see us tumbling in the street!

Two hours later I had to make an appearance at my wife's baby shower. Wife not happy. Made me promise never to get on a bike again. I'm taking her advice. It's the fourth time I've been down and luck is no longer on my side. Have to think about the little one.

Jon,
I'm so sorry for your loss.

Bill,
Next time go boating with me. I'm glad you guys were not seriously hurt. Things can be replaced, you can't!
