Boat rolled off trailer in NO. VA.
#15
Really sorry to hear this. Man that is a nightmare!
I think that is everyones worse fear.
Could you give a little more information that might help others out to prevent the boat from leaving the trailer?
What kind of trailer, was there bow and stearn straps?
I have a Myco trailer, the winch line, plus three other tie downs at the bow, and a very heavy tie down (3000lb) on both sides of the transom.
I have often wondered if the boat would stay with the trailer if something like this happened.
Thanks

I think we should put a "bounty" on that red dually. Tell you one thing though, made me go out and buy stronger transom "tie-down". I always have a safety chain tight as i can get it at the bow, including a second padlock to "squeeze" the chains together for tightness, and had small tie downs at rear. Went out looked at them after hearing what happened and said fu*k those, went out and bought "honkers". Now is my boat rolls it taking the trailer with it. Now if I can just keep my axles on.......

Damn sorry to hear about this. I met Frank the the RPBA Poker Run he was docked behind my boat. Nice guy and really nice boat a real shame. Looks like we need to find that dually guy and introduce his knees to a baseball bat.
