If there is a conspiracy here, I am not a part of it. If you do some research, you'll find my posts always constructive. I am not bashing anyone here. I am speaking from personal knowledge, using facts and have a statistical example of one.

He built a 55' monohull for me in "99. The boat was constructed to break the Miami-Nassau-Miami record. As stated the boat was way over its weight budget and structurally unsound. Remedial work was completed but the boat never ran near its design speed and thus was not going to break any records.

Jack's original weight projection was 8500lbs. One week prior to finishing the boat he alerted us that the boat would weigh 10,000lbs. The boat weighed 11,760lbs. Quality control processes were not observed during construction.

The boat has been stretch to 62' and the hull and deck weight 7500lbs for reference. We have changed to a post cured epoxy laminate.

Jack may build great boats but he didn't for me.

I heard that boat just ran 147 mph at LOTO shootout. Thats not too shabby for 55' monohull. I believe it holds fastest Vbottom title at the moment doesn't it?

Oh wait a minute Jack built the Callan Boat ?? wow way way Cool..

I hope you guys when you decided to lighten a 62' Mono hull to 7500# you reevaluated the the entry and dead-rise.these need to change correspondingly for any real change in Mass..there are simple rules for it BTW

That is If you plan to ride in the deep blue water.
