Yes, the firefox was just a newly designed deck on a boat that they already made and I think but am not sure if that it was a squadron model.

The squadron's came in a 24, 27, and a 34ish size before Don merge the company with Cigarette when he bought Cig back from the owners who went bankrupt.

Sorry to get off topic. No I don't know where the 339 originalted.

When you get down to it, Jim at Python actually pulled the mold from a boat called a cobra. I have only heard of the company that sells cats, weather or not this is the same company or not, I don;t know, but if you put a Python a trailer next to a Pantera and look at the design of the hulls, it is like a mirror image of one another. The Pantera is a little bit heavier but other than that the same.

That is it. Then everyone else got there hands on it or one that was copied from it and well they all are related in some way or another.

All great boat! Some of these mold and designs have exchanged hands so many time that no one can keep track.

Doesn't matter to me where the bottom design came from as long as it works and builder have built a quility boat.
