All of the boats listed so far could be the ticket. Personally, The Playboy would be my choice. It's unique, fast, reliable, and will hold it's value best. It has the 500's you requested. It is an 80+ mph boat.

Most importantly, you won't have to worry about the guy 2 slips down from you having the same boat. I love the other brands, but they all look the same. If your going to spend the money, be original.

I have a 1996 Hustler 32 Sport for sale with low hours in excellent condition for $75,500.

Sorry, the boat will be used mostly in salt - Jersey shore/bays to south shore of Long Island, minimal lake use. Any hope for getting support from the factory researching used models? It would be great if I could get a list from the brands I'm interested showing hull design changes by year (like year notched keel pad started, year stepped hull started, etc.). I agree about being different - don't want a cookie cutter design if I'm spending $$$. Just joined as a free member so I can't see your attachments yet. Can they pasted in the msg body or put in the gallery section? Thanks.

Default As for the $$$

From an investment standpoint, I have other uses for my money and want to stay under 100k. New hull and power prices keep climbing so bang for the buck on the used market is where I'm at. Just like in real estate, good values are hard to find, but they come up if you're patient.
Regarding length, it's a difficult blend of offshore prowess and manageable size. Would like to be able to go out alone and trailer it on occaision (prove to the wife why I need a Cummins powered 4x4!).
