the Velocity factory

I was just there. It looked like a boat business to me. I tend to look at the people running the place and not whats laying around or on the floor.

Since Jo's reply on behalf of Pantera, nothing but silence from the folks who enjoyed butchering the reputation of the Nunez family.

Not a rebuttal.

Not an apology.

Yesterday hearsay couldn't be posted fast enough. Today the silence is deafening.

My own posts were out of line. I was extremely frustrated with the feeding frenzy that was taking place. However in my frustration my own posts crossed the line on what's acceptable. To anyone I may have offended, and to Troutly in particular, I apologize.

Fred

Fred I feel your same frustration, and as always you are held in high regard . It takes a man to make a mistake and one to admit it. I believe there is another thread that has made apologizes for there feeding frenzy. Hopefully this will be yet another lessoned learned . Glad to see you back.

The boats are where they put there craftsmanship, not the facility. And the Velocity factory, for a company that builds less than 80 boats a year is more than adequate.
VelocityMark,
I agree that alot of manufacturers have dirty, dusty looking building areas. I have been to most of the bigger manufacturers and they are pretty much how you describe them.
BUT----- I GUARANTEE you that you have never been to Formula's Plant. It looks like friggin IBM World Headquarters, no joke!

Hi, Gang

What a great reply from Pantera. What Jo failed to tell everyone is that several times he was advised that his boat was going to be delivered on Tuesday back in August. When Tuesday came along, got another excuse. Why can't Pantera just be honost and if boat not going to be ready by a given date, just state it. I know for a fact if Pantera would have told my friend that he wouldn't have a boat this summer, he would have purchase somewhere else. Thats all I have to say about this.

Too Old, now that Jo made his reply, everthing thing
Chuck and a couple of other guys have to say means
nothing? I thought that was what these forums
were for. To state an opinion. Maybe help someone out
in the future. It sounds like Jo is a great guy and runs
a great operation, but that won't stop frustration if
you don't have your boat. As everyone says, both
sides should have their say. Buy the way, I didn't
see one post trashing Pantera, just stating their opinion on the situation. I'm a fairly new member (6 months)
I think OSO is great and have been helped buy other
members a couple of times. We should keep it great
and not sensor other peoples opinions. Rick

HI, iam Dominick the owner of the 03 pantera my friend Chuck wrote about. Chuck who is a great freind and a big fan of offshore only was not trying to offend anybody [specially the NUNEZ FAMILY]. My good freind Chuck has been waiting for me all summer to take out my new pantera. Every week i would have a excuse. I talked to Jo today and everything seems to be okay. This my second pantera. I am very loyal to this brand and family, i sold one to my best buddy also. Its the only boat i think i will ever own and want to own. I live in NY, so our boating season isnt as long as some other states. We go from memorial day to just past labor day, so you can see why my friend Chuck was trying to get some answers . He did that and i thank him for being a caring friend. I hope that what he wrote diddnt get to many people upset. I enjoy dealing w/Linda, Jo, PEPE, AND BARBIE. I consider them to be my friends, and i do no that they do make a great boat[awesome boat]. So thanks for all the feedback and JO thanks for letting me no whats up. HAPPY B-DAY JO. DOMINICK

Maybe the people actually work for a living and were sitting around on Sunday because they didn't have a boat.
Does anyone actually read these threads?
This may be settled with all of you but as far as I can tell a delivery date was not promised to Chuck's friend.
I also did not post what Joe claimed I did about the full payment. Go back and read it.

I think it's funny how so many people have posted here, who do not have a first hand buying experience with Pantera. If it's not your money in the poker game then I don't think your allowed to bet.

I also think if you are going to vouch for someone then you better be willing to put up the cash in their place if they default. I know the banks like it that way too.
