Oh don't you worry, we'll be there!!!! Cap, my sister works at the southeastern post office ( she is a bit older but still a howl when she gets a buzz on!!!)

Kitten, looking forward to seeing you there!!! Oh yea, Glenn too!!!

We don't need no stinking races, (only kidding guys) We can have a HUGE OSO party. Block off Duval rent, some Scooters and have some roundy round races.............HMMMMMMMMM??????

Possibly Mr. Mills would pay the balance of the sanctioning fees.
Steve,
Personally, I don't think Lee Mills would pay the balance, even if it only cost HIM a hundred bucks. Besides, if we racers paid his sanction fee, then he would probably start thinking, if the racers can afford to pay my sanctioning fee, then I can make the racers pay for my awards banquet, my prize purse, my after race party, my before race party, my VIP viewing....
You get the idea.
I just can't see giving more money to somone that greedy.
We would all love to go back to Key West. But, If Key West wants us, then maybe they need to go around Lee Mills and go straight to APBA-Offshore.
If not, then let's go where we are wanted.

And did anyone notice in the letter only a $50,000 purse was guaranteed. The Worlds normally has a $100,000 prize purse.

I'm afraid this needs more than an announcement from OSO, Catman.

The worldwide sanctioning body is UIM. Which in turn sanctioned APBA.

If Catmando and Peconic would start a boat race and call that a World Championship, nobody could probably stop us. But without the UIM/APBA anointment, that boat race doesn't count for much.

What the racing community needs urgently is an official, bankable announcement from APBA.

Mike A I am sure you are reading these post. We need you to post some fact here so we have the truth about this whole thing. The sooner the better before all hell brakes loose. For all we know this is a bad rumor and people are changing there reservations for nothing. I would love to hear we were still racing in KW and Alabama next year!!! I'm willing to pay extra for these fees and then kick him to the curb after the race.
