Well dang, I'm about tired of flipping hurricanes screwing up my travel plans!

And can I say that US Air needs to find some customer service folks with tons LESS crappy attitude? Woman tried to tell me that hurricanes don't close airports inland. Funny to me that they closed RDU because of the loss of power and area damage from Fran. I distinctly remember being up ALL night long during that one and listening to the TREES and LIGHT POLES get broken and ripped out of the ground by the wind. I suppose I dreamed all of that, huh?

What about the APBA races in Ft Lauderdale and those in Tampa/St Pete??

Need to see when those are to see if they work into our schedules. Right now my airport isn't affected by the storm, so it will cost me $100 to change my ticket for a race that has been canceled. I'm already flying into Lauderdale as it is. We have to cancel room reservations too. Gotta love a hurricane!

I can't make the Lauderdale race at the beginning of October.....

I'll hit the APBA race in Tampa/St. Pete, it's just right down the road ( as long as it doesn't get moved, like last year) since Miami was cancelled.

Deerfield would be the November race I was talking about. PLEEEEASE let the weather hold out for that one!

I should quit *****ing......I didn't have to change all kinds of plans like the racers themselves.
