Hmmm, let see, it's 466.9 miles and 7 hours 11 minutes to Burger King in Orange Beach, then it's 415.2 miles and 6 hours and 23 minutes to BK in KW. Not a heck of a lot of difference for me. And I can tell you from experience, that 6/23 is VERY optimistic. Besides, I've never been to OB, but I've been to KW many times. If I'm not up to my butt in work at that time, we'll take a ride up there.

Been going to KW since 84' ( except 1997, bad, bad bike accident, woke up after two days on life support, was glad to see they were able to put my right arm and leg back together, 30 broken bones , lost a lung, in the hospital for 28 days ect.... happened in sept. one of the first things on my mind, once it started to work again, was DAMN IT, I'M GONNA MISS THE WORLDS, true story) I've had the same room at the Ocean Key House for eleven years, I've met and made friends from all over the country.............There is simply no place like KW during race week. I have so many things in place (babysitters, ect...) we will probably still go.

BTW we were planing on running down with the Florida Powerboat Club, I wonder what happens with that ?

I have to agree. There are 8 of us booked & airline to Key West.
We are going to KeyWest!!!!!
Some friends are coming down on their cruiser boat from mid FL. to hook up with us. My buddy has a brand new 36ft Carver boat sitting in the slip just waiting for us to go snorkleing or scuba diving or bar hoping.
Hope to see some of you down there!!!.

KY group has made up their mind ,"Orange Beach" look out here we come.
