well . . .i will be in key west. a friend of mine has already made all the reservations for our group. i'm sure we will be able to find somthing to do while we are there.

. . . now i just need to weasle a boat ride from someone, i got gas money an beer. . . better take the gas money though cuz i will prolly drink all the beer

I will be where the big race is and that sounds like Orange Beach, AL. I have never seen a race before so I look forward to that and I have never been to Orange Beach, AL.
To tell you the truth I have never been to Key West so I guess I will not even know what I am missing.

OCG, you should come here to St Pete for the Nationals. We have way better beaches than KW, and the weather should still be quite warm.

The Vinoy is THE place. But, if you are cash strapped and want to be close, try the "Ponce de Leon Hotel". It is a funky old hotel. If it's good enough for Dr. Santiago, it can't be all that bad. It is within walking distance of the Pier and The Vinoy. I would stay there again.
