I do not know where to start. This has to be the biggest load of sh#* I have ever had to deal with in my years of racing. As a racer, there is know reason in the world for me to take the time and expense to race in KW for nothing. We have run all year in hopes of a good showing at the World Championships. I race to compete against the best. Because if I can beat them, I have accomplished something for myself. I find it impossible to believe that there will be 110 boats at KW like Mr. Mills has said. My bet is about 20. There is no glory in winning the "Worlds" when there are only two boats in the class. If the city of KW has been told by Lee Mills that there will be a grand fleet of boats then he will be the one run out of town. The city and the expected revenue will suffer. The racers and fans will be hurt the most.
But what is not to be forgotten by APBA or Lee Mills is what about the sponsors? Why would a company get involved with any of this, or sponsor a boat for that matter? Just moments of due diligences on the net and any promotions director would run for the hills. The damage to your creditability Mr. Mills will never recover.
