If things get bad you can always use the gun on yourself, or better yet the mother in law

Tell them all that pontoons have a bad rep... they rust from the inside out. Then hole one pontoon while no one is looking then beach it when it starts listing. Scare the sh!t out of them and then rent a real boat..... Made of fiberglass...... No matter what you do though..... pack a cooler with beer.

It could be worse, she could have rented a sailboat. Just pretend you are on a go-fast that blew an engine. And its not yours. That should make the long slow painful trip a little easier. And alcohol too.

Man, I used to think any boat ride was a good boat ride, but now I'm not so sure!

I was in that very situation once and only once. My wife and mother-in-law fought for the whole time.
