Well as some of you know I'll be in South Florida for Thanksgiving.....family deal the wifes Grand Mother lives there and has yet to meet our daughter who turned 2 on Friday last week so off we go! Up till the Birthday party this past weekend I thought it would be a great trip then it happened.......My mother-in-law who is a tryed and true Tree hugger informs the familt that she would like to rent us a boat......I thought Cool!!a nice sport fisher center councel would be great. Then she drops the BOMB! We love to rent a pontoon boat and ride up the intercoastal to Stuart .....what!!! thats Manatee zone city!!!!!a 2 hour ride in a governed pontoon with my mother-in-law through Manatee country!!!! HELP ME!!!!! Seeing as though I'll not be able to bring my own gun to end it all could one of you guys deliver one to me at the Jupiter Beach Resort? just before I have to leave for the ride?????If I cant end it all I could always go Manatee hunting.... I here they taste like chicken!!!

Ouch! That's going to be a painful ride. Those pontoon boats are quiet enough to hear them bitshing.

Oh man!!! buy yourself a tube and about 100' of rope and have them drive while pulling you behind the boat! bring the cooler with ya and float back there drinking suds

Bring a fishing pole and troll for them.

I hate to tell you but it could be worse than you thought. If she is a tree hugger that pontoon may have twin trolling motors on it.
