It can get insane out hear in the winter. Last year I was shooting a picture of a wave and the water came up around my truck and moved it!! Probably only moved it a couple inches but man for a min I was freeking as I was not sure how far I was going to move. I took off ASAP after that. Throught I was on high ground but was wrong. The Nor Easters are the ones that get nasty around hear. BIG WAVES and nasty winds.

I saw a boat heading out of Grand Haven Thursday evening. He was being tossed around pretty good in the channel then it looked like a scene from the Perfect Storm as he got by the lighthouse.....oh well, hope they madse it back okay.
