We had to go as far north as we could because the gaylord /waters area was getting crazy. Too many stops, cross roads and drunk idiots. Now we cruise the UP and can travel at 80 all day. I have over 8000 miles up there in 3 years. Lets keep this thread going so we don't forget.
Mitch, I Agree That Area Is Full Of Drunks...... If Time Permits I Love Riding The U.P. We Stop In Trout Lake, Unload And Run 150 Miles A Day In That Area.... My Dad Lives On Sherman Rd. East Of 75, And My Cabin Is Off Old State Road, On The Lower Chub Lake.... Grand Marais Is Nice As Long As You Don't Need Gas

02 ZR800EFI CC Edition

For those in NY

I would recommend Lake Clear, Saranac area. They get a ton of snow without alot of the crazy snowmobile traffic. Trail leaving Charlies goes straight up to Canada. I know MANY great trails in that area that are not traveled much. Could be a great gathering spot.

Sounds like Ontario may be the most centrally located place.

Havent spoken to Josh yet.
Im waiting until I have the sleds so I can see what Im dealing with.
I was supposed to pick up the sleds tomorrow but followed up with the dealer, just to make sure they were ready for me.
Wouldnt you know it...................
Dealer;
Daaaaah, when are you coming,
Me;
Thursday as we discussed last week, you told me to come in Thursday because that was your late night.
Dealer
Daaaaaaaaaahhh, we have guys on vacation and NONE of your accessories are in because we didnt order them (since March) and the shop likes to build the sleds on saturdays................

For those of you that love boating and miss getting fed a bunch of lies, broken promises, and the general F the customer attitude, I highly recommend snowmobiling, the similarities are amazing.
