That thing is sweet. 400 hp and 4.6 seconds to 60.

My 2c:

Is it just me or are the Cadillacs getting progressivly uglier? The CTS looks like a Deville that got shortened and narrowed. And don't even get me started on those headlights...

CTS is a fun RWD 5 speed car when it's running properly. I've had mine for 20 months and have had lots of repair service issues, too many for a low mileage car, including a complete differential replacement and an A/C system that the dealership finally had to make a part for to get it functional again.
My wife and kids don't care to take it on long trips, they will always opt for the old Suburban.
Based upon the quality I've experienced I think the car should have been born a Buick or Olds. Don't expect because it's a Caddi, to drive it off the lot and live happily ever after.

I have two customers now with the CTS and they love them.

The styling did not do much for me at first, but now I really like them. Have only rode in one and it was very nice.

Personally I am a big fan of the Seville STS and also the DeVille DTS.

The STS is my first choice, but a olt more expensive.

Good luck, you will be happy which ever way you go.

bojoe 2, the CTS-V is the M version of the Cad, it has a 400 hp 'Vette engine, 6 speed stick, brakes, suspension and a few other goodies with a retail of about 50 K. The real M series, the M5, probably one of the best sport sedans in the world is going for 70+K. The V would win a drag race, but the M would win in all other performance areas...(can we talk boats now?)

I'm a Canadian dealer. If you are not sure then wait till July or August of '04.The new STS will be out with rear wheel drive and the series 2 Northstar That should give you an additional choice.
