I agree the BCS sucks, but so does the Hiesman decision. I'm sure that I will get all kinds of feed back on this, but it is hard to believe that Texas Tech's quaterback was not even in the final running after breaking the all time NCAA record. Give me a break. Everything is to dam polictal.

"Symons set the NCAA single-season mark with 5,336 passing yards, breaking the former record of 5,188, set by former BYU quarterback Ty Detmer in 1990. Symons also leads the nation in nearly every passing and total offense category, including touchdowns passes (48), passing yards per game (444.7) and total offense yards per game (456.3). He also turned in the third-best single-game passing performance in NCAA history with 661 yards in a come-from-behind win at Mississippi earlier in the season.

In addition to his single-season passing record, Symons also set five other NCAA records in single-season total offense yards (5,476), consecutive games of 400-plus yards of total offense (9), most passing yards over four-consecutive games (2,239), most total offense yards over three-consecutive games (1,799) and most total offense yards over four-consecutive games (2,328)."

What was Tech's record this year???

7-5, but look the scores of some of the toughest games. If we had only had a defense as strong as the offense.......

We know who played the toughest schedules: Oklahoma and LSU. We know who won the most games:Oklahoma and LSU. (Too bad the PAC 10 does not have a conference championship game). Who had the worst loss? Oklahoma lost to K State 35-7 on a neutral field. K-State's schedule was ranked 10th in the country, finished 11-3, ranked 10th in the BCS and in the top ten in each poll. LSU lost at home to Fla. 19-7. Fla. had the 5th toughest schedule in the country, finished 8-4, 15th in BCS and 17th in each poll. USC lost at Cal. 34-31 in three ot's. Cal's schedule was weaker than K-State's and Fla.'s, finished 7-6 and UNRANKED. LSU played four games against teams now in January bowls. Oklahoma played two. USC played NONE. The Sugar Bowl is the national championship game. GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
