That 7-5 record is probably why Symons was not in the hunt for the Heisman. Sorry to say, but that's how it works.
And I still think Michigan finished their season playing the best ball in the country. USC game will be the teller I guess. |

Cal's schedule was weaker than K-State's and Fla.'s, finished 7-6 and UNRANKED. LSU played four games against teams now in January bowls. Oklahoma played two. USC played NONE. The Sugar Bowl is the national championship game. |
