There is a plastic diamond plate that looks like polished Aluminum. It's in the newest JC Whitney catalog. I don't remember the price but, it was pretty cheap. And can be cut with a scissors

Payton for real???C_spray those are the cabinets that gave me the idea!!but there way to small I want them deeper like 24".....

I was talking about alum diamond plate not plastic. how many and what sizes panels do you need....

Go to a place that can order you Formica and ask to see the samples. My buddy is a carpenter and did the top of his bar in the diamond plate patterned stuff - came out pretty cool.
He ordered it from the same place he gets all his other Form

The loneseal is a rubber product meant for a floor application. It's a pearescent material and is quite pricy. For cabinet faces, I'd recommend a high pressure laminate. Yes, the old formica is available in a diamond plate pattern with a metallic finish.
